RingCentral Emphasizes Commitment to Security with New Certification

RingCentral (News - Alert) UK, a branch of the global communications enterprise RingCentral,recently made an announcement that the company has acquired the  United Kingdom National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Cyber Essentials Plus certification. After a thorough external audit, conducted by the Manchester based NCC Group, RingCentral UK has been granted the certification after illustrating the company’s secure cyber defenses and operational processes.




“Trust is the currency of business communications,” said Steve Rafferty, Country Manager, United Kingdom & Ireland at RingCentral. “We are committed to ensuring that our customers can rely on the highest standards of security, compliance, and privacy.”

The announcement comes at a crucial time in RingCentral’s global business development. The company recently partnered with Stack8 on a global cloud communication service. RingCentral is also developing new AI programs for customer service in the remote age. This certification provides further evidence of the importance of security within the cloud communications space, and RingCentral’s desire to be at the forefront.The company participates in third-party audits throughout the year, but the certification signifies RingCentral’s seriousness about the importance of security and compliance.

Steve Rafferty added, “Our focus on adding the Cyber Essentials Plus certification is part of that commitment and assures our existing and future customers across the public and private sector that we’re focused on embracing the very highest standards.”
