Financial compliance solutions provider NICE announced this week that it would be further developing an ongoing partnership with voice communications and analytic solutions provider, Cloud9 (News - Alert).

The latest collaboration will focus on combining Cloud9’s voice trading platform with NICE’s cloud compliance suite, offering financial business customers a comprehensive solution for consolidating communications and supporting global regulations.

“Combining Cloud9’s rich metadata and high quality audio with NICE’s cloud compliance suite enables our customers to leverage their voice communications to detect and mitigate market abuse and conduct risk, reconstruct events, and better understand the intent behind trader actions, regardless of the language traders are communicating in.” commented Jim Miller, COO and Head of Product at Cloud9 Technologies.

Cloud9’s voice trading platform has been highly valuable for financial institutions over the course of the pandemic, as heavy restrictions have made virtual trading floors an key resource for continuing transactions from any location. With the inclusion of NICE’s cloud compliance suite, users can connect with traders across the globe, utilize advanced analytic solutions, all while documenting communications and transactions to ensure regulatory compliance at all times.

"The Cloud9 – NICE partnership uniquely enables digital transformation of trader interactions and associated regulatory compliance functions through agile, scalable cloud-to-cloud solutions that revolutionize trader communications, while also supporting compliance with relevant global regulations." added Executive VP Chris Wooten, NICE.
