As a global consulting and marketing analytics firm, Compass Intelligence conducted an independent survey of around 49 websites that target small businesses with products and services and stated that Verizon’s (News - Alert) website for small businesses received the highest ranking. Websites were ranked based on the following attributes: site design, visuals, product information, resources, portal features and account tools.

According to Compass (News - Alert), an elegant mix of multimedia, easy-to-understand product details, online buying and compelling customer stories with connection to real-time solutions are offered by Verizon’s small-business site which led to the highest score. Another governing factor in achieving the highest ranking was the major redesign of the Verizon’s site.

In a press release, Kneko Burney, president and chief strategist at Compass Intelligence, said, “Of all the websites we reviewed, we found that Verizon invested the most to provide a great overall online experience for small businesses. Verizon's small-business website is intuitive, and most importantly, the content is relevant to small businesses, not only seeking services, but seeking information and news to help them run their business better and get an edge on competition.”
