Rich Tehrani

| Rich Tehrani's involvement in
telecommunications began in 1982 at Technology Marketing Corporation
(TMC). Since then, he has led TMC in many capacities, including six
years as MIS Director. Tehrani has played a pivotal role in steering
TMC towards high technology. In May 1996, Tehrani became Publisher
of Communications Solutions magazine, and was instrumental in
bringing it to an industry hungry for in-depth product and service
information. Tehrani is now President and Group Editor-in-Chief of
TMC. He received his B.S. in Computer Hardware Engineering from the
University of Connecticut. |

"Joc" Jacquay

| As Chairman and CEO,
John “Joc” Jacquay sets the company’s strategic direction
and is responsible for Pagoo’s development and operational
results. Joc came to
Pagoo with more than 24 years of experience in the
telecommunications and Internet industries. He most recently
served as President and COO of GRIC Communications, Inc., a leader
in integrated, multiple IP-based services for carriers and
Internet service providers. Prior to GRIC, Joc held a number of
senior executive positions at MCI. As COE with MCI Systemhouse,
Joc formed the Regulated Industries Unit. He was Vice President
and General Manager of MCI’s State Government and University
segment, where he introduced the Campus MCI suite of Internet
services and helped define the operating model for Internet
service providers. Joc spent more than 10 years in a series of
sales, marketing and financial executive positions before joining
MCI. Joc holds BS and MBA degrees from Indiana University.

Biography:
As General Manager of ECI's Jacksonville
R&D division and member of ECI's senior management team, Mr. Simak
plays a key role in the development of ECI's next-generation IP and
enhanced services solutions. His responsibilities include research and
development of ECI's VoIP technology including advanced service control,
enhanced service applications and softswitch integration.
Mr. Simak brings proven management skills
and 15 years of advanced software and system development expertise to ECI.
Mr. Simak formerly served as Vice President at NKO, Inc, an early pioneer
in VoIP and fax-over-data technology, which was acquired by ECI in 1998.
With a background in both engineering and computer science disciplines (BSEE,
MSCSE), Mr. Simak continues his proven track record in applying advanced
technologies to real-world problems. Prior to joining NKO in 1995, Mr.
Simak worked for Computer Sciences Corporation on advanced software
technologies and lead their CAD/CAM AI research group.
Abstract:
Softswitch and Media Gateways promise to re-invent the traditional
telecommunications landscape. Driven by cost reduction and deregulation,
IP telephony implementations have initially succeeded in toll-bypass,
Internet off-load, and traditional enhanced service applications. Emerging
standards and technologies including SIP, feature-rich IP terminals and
wireless devices, will enable the next wave of business and consumer
services. Mr. Simak will highlight technology, industry and consumer
trends, anticipating requirements, challenges and opportunities for the
Internet telephony industry.
