Dr. Aras is Vice President of Marketing for Ditech Networks. He is responsible for
all product management, marketing, marcom and strategy activities. His experience
encompasses definition, go-to-market and P/L for VoDSL, H.323 gateways and MPEG2
video products, definition and product lifecycle management. Before joining Ditech, he
was VP of Marketing at Manystreams, Inc. and Jetstream Communications, and director of
product management at First Virtual Communications. Dr. Aras holds an Executive MBA
from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering
from North Carolina State University. He is also the recipient of five patents in various areas
of packet voice and video networking.
