Sigfox U.S.A. Appoints Hussain Suleman as Vice President of Sales


Sigfox U.S.A., the U.S. network operator for the global 0G network provider Sigfox, today announced that it has appointed Hussain Suleman as Vice President (VP) of Sales. With his comprehensive telecoms industry experience spanning across multiple continents, Suleman will help drive business growth and revenue retention across the U.S. Suleman will also be responsible for executing against Sigfox U.S.A.'s revamped go-to-market strategy, which he developed in response to COVID-19.

Suleman joined Sigfox U.S.A. in January 2020 as Director of Business Development. Before, Suleman served as the Country Director for southern and eastern Africa for Sigfox Group. Based out of Johannesburg, South Africa, Suleman was Sigfox's first employee on the continent, launching the business in South Africa and eventually growing the brand along with the Sigfox Operator, SqwidNet, into the country's leading IoT network. During this period, Suleman scaled the Sigfox network into multiple countries across the region. Prior to his time at Sigfox, Suleman was principal specialist for machine-to-machine and vertical industries at Vodacom (News - Alert).

In his role as VP of Sales, Suleman will focus on increasing Sigfox U.S..'s brand awareness and market share by leveraging the existing network, which already covers most of the major cities, airports and ports in the U.S., as well as the group's reputable customer base. Critical to this will be the ability to showcase Sigfox's value proposition and ease of use, a prospect simplified by many organization's willingness to undertake digital transformation in order to better prepare themselves for the next global disruption. With the Sigfox 0G network's wide range of use cases, driven by its low-cost and low power devices, the network provides IoT connectivity for industries ranging from retail, to healthcare, to the supply chain.
