Veteran Investment Banker Amy Johnson Joins D.A. Davidson to Lead Debt Advisory Practice

D.A. Davidson & Co. announced today that veteran investment banker Amy S. Johnson has joined the firm to lead its debt advisory practice. She will serve as managing director with the firm's expanding technology team.

Johnson's extensive experience is focused on M&A advisory, strategic advisory and debt and equity capital-raising services for middle market companies across the communications infrastructure, technology and service sectors.

"Amy is a highly respected professional whose extraordinary energy and mission-driven focus will be essential as we build our debt advisory practice and continue the momentum within our Technology Group," said Rory McKinney, head of investment banking at D.A. Davidson. "As head of debt advisory, she brings a depth of industry knowledge to our platform, broadening our capabilities, and strengthening our mission to provide our clients expert advice and seamless execution of their long-term strategic and financial objectives."

"As we strive to be agnostic advisors to our growth technology clients, we believe Amy's expertise in raising debt capital will add another vector for our clients to consider as they evaluate strategic alternatives," said Joe Morgan, head of D.A. Davidson's technology investment banking group. "Longer term, we believe Amy's expertise will be an invaluable tool for our private equity partners and we will tightly integrate her relationships within our existing technology sponsor coverage efforts."

"I'm honored to join D.A. Davidson, a firm with an impressive record of delivering high-quality advice and outstanding transaction execution for all of its clients," said Johnson. "I'm excited to partner with my new colleagues and to drive the continue momentum of the technology team."

Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, Johnson served as a managing director with The Bank Street Group LLC, where she was head of debt advisory, focused on the digital infrastructure ecosystem and was instrumental in growing the firm from a start-up into a leading boutique firm. She previously worked with Swiss Bank Corp/SBC Warburg (now UBS), where she was responsible for the U.S. asset-backed credit business, and also worked with Chase Manhattan Bank. She graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.

D.A. Davidson's technology platform has grown significantly in recent years. Today's technology team across the Equity Capital Markets platform includes:
