AM Best Assigns Issue Credit Rating to Ohio National Financial Services, Inc.'s Senior Unsecured NotesAM Best has assigned a Long-Term Issue Credit Rating of "bbb+" to the $425 million 5.55% 10-year senior unsecured notes, due 2030, issued by Ohio National Financial Services, Inc. (ONFS) (Cincinnati, OH). The outlook assigned to the Credit Rating (rating) is stable. All existing ratings of ONFS and its subsidiaries are unchanged. The company has used the net proceeds from the issuance mainly to retire existing bank debt. AM Best notes that proforma financial leverage and interest cover metrics remain within guidelines for the current ratings. Holding company liquidity is strong and the earliest maturity of any debt or surplus note of ONFS or its operating subsidiaries does not occur until 2026.
