(TSX: OPT), an innovative software provider of mission-critical, cloud-native monetization and customer management products and solutions to leading communication service providers (CSPs) globally, is pleased to announce that Jason Rouault has joined Optiva as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Rouault, previously as CTO and VP of engineering with Cloudvisory, provided the technical vision, product management and engineering for the Cloudvisory Security Platform, an enterprise-class platform trusted by Fortune 500 companies. His career with Cloudvisory, and before that Time Warner Cable and Hewlett-Packard, has been distinguished by a focus on emerging technologies, product development, security and future technology direction. During his tenure with Hewlett-Packard, where Rouault served for 17 years, in his role as director of engineering for HP Cloud Services, he was one of the original team members who helped build the HP Public Cloud business. Creating the business from the ground up, he was responsible for driving the technical strategy, architecture and business direction for HP Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
