ChannelCon 2018 is set for July 31 through August 2 in Washington, D.C.

Highlighting the conference's vendor education track is CompTIA's popular Executive Certificate in Channel Account Management program.

"Effective channel account managers adapt and evolve as the industry changes," said Kelly Ricker, executive vice president, events and education, for CompTIA. "Keeping pace with change has never been more challenging, or more critical, than it is today. Our program is designed to help early- and mid-career channel managers better understand the dynamics that are shaping today's channel."

The Channel Account Management program features nine unique sessions over three days led by channel expert Theresa Caragol, founder and CEO of Achieve Unite, LLC, a strategic advisory and performance partnering firm. Caragol has more than 20 years' experience in building and managing multi-million-dollar indirect channel teams and strategic alliance business and programs from inception to sales success.

Participants will be exposed to the concepts, knowledge and skills that can help them grow into an "evolved channel manager" capable of leading initiatives and investments that drive indirect sales revenue.

Also at ChannelCon 2018, Diane Krakora, CEO of PartnerPath LLC, a channel development firm dedicated to helping companies elevate the impact of partnering, will speak on the "Five Stages of the Partner Journey."

Krakora, known among her clients and colleagues for offering sound counsel, creative ideas and aggressive, proactive solutions, will make the case for why partnering should be an integral part of every technology company; and how through proper engagement and enablement, partnerships of all types can return increased sales and profitability.
