Norton Rose Fulbright Adds Litigation Pair in Minneapolis


Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today enhanced its litigation capabilities with the addition of partner Frank Taylor and senior counsel Julie Firestone. These two financial markets litigators join the Minneapolis office from Briggs and Morgan, where Taylor served as its Head of Financial Markets.

Taylor focuses on complex financial markets litigation, class actions, regulatory investigations, enforcement proceedings and market conduct examinations. He has 40 years of experience serving as lead trial counsel in more than 135 class actions and trying more than 350 matters to verdict, judgment or award in 42 states before federal, state and arbitration forums.

Taylor, who also advises companies with respect to insider trading policies and the disposition of surplus funds, said:

Firestone represents corporations, investment firms, broker-dealers, insurance companies, issuers of securities, registered representatives and insurance agents in class actions, regulatory proceedings and other adversary matters. Co-chair of the ABA Securities Litigation Committee, her practice covers securities litigation, shareholder derivative actions, insurance involving manufactured products, closely-held corporate disputes and regulatory compliance.

Taylor is admitted to practice in Minnesota, New York, Nebraska and Iowa. He received his JD from the University of Iowa College of Law and his BA from the University of Iowa.


Firestone is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Washington. She received her JD from the University of Washington School of Law and her BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
