Spectral appoints Michael Walton as Vice President of Sales & Marketing to fuel Accelerated growth in demand for MemoryIP & software development tools for Design Automation

(SDT), a leading provider of embedded Memory Development platform & MemoryIP, announced today that that Michael Walton has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. With his extensive experience selling and marketing EDA tools and IP, Michael is well suited to drive sales growth and new market penetration at SDT.

IOT business coupled with deep learning chip implementations are fueling demand for high-speed low power processor cores. Advanced embedded memory architectures are key components in processor design to reduce power. SDT is experiencing rapid growth as it continues to build its IP portfolio using its commercial grade software to model, analyze, tile & characterize Memory Compilers & custom solutions. Walton brings over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, supporting EDA and IP products. Most recently he founded and ran a successful Sales Rep. company that sold products for: Flex Logix Technologies, Altos Design Automation, purchased by Cadence, andKilopass, purchased by Synopsys. He also has held several senior management sales and marketing positions at: Artisan Components and Mentor Graphics.
