OneLogin and Cloudflare Collaborate to Extend Zero Trust Security Across Hybrid Environments

OneLogin, the industry leader in Unified Access Management and Cloudflare, the leading Internet performance and security company, today announced an integration and partnership to seamlessly enable zero-trust authentication across SaaS (News - Alert) and on-premise applications, eliminating the need for VPNs.

OneLogin's cloud-based Unified Access Management Platform now integrates with Cloudflare Access, providing a comprehensive solution for enterprises to monitor and enable access requests inside and outside the corporate firewall. Through this partnership, IT and security teams can seamlessly establish the trustworthiness of an access request and enable secure authentication across their entire portfolio of applications, whether on-premise or cloud-hosted.

"All too often we see large enterprises with complex, hybrid environments relying on VPNs that are burdensome for IT, slow for end-users, and not guaranteed to be secure," said Tim Gunderson, VP of business development and channels at OneLogin. "Together, OneLogin and Cloudflare allow users to connect directly to on-premise and cloud-hosted applications, eliminating the need for VPNs while also ensuring end-to-end access security."

With this integration, Cloudflare Acess automatically vets all user access requests to corporate applications and prompts the user to authenticate using OneLogin. Upon successful authentication against OneLogin, Cloudflare Access verifies the access policies and establishes a unique session for that user. OneLogin provides this simple, secure authentication across both cloud and on-premises applications.

"Mobile workforces allow employees the flexibility they need to work anywhere, at any time, however, VPNs remain slow and clunky," said Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare. "Our collaboration with OneLogin gives our mutual customers a centralized access point for enterprise applications, regardless of where they are in the world."

"We've always been interested in zero-trust security. The tight integration of OneLogin with Cloudflare enables our employees to seamlessly access company applications - from anywhere, anytime - and gives us peace of mind that each session is validated uniquely," said Josh Butts, SVP of Engineering at Ziff Davis, parent company of Offers.com.
