Gallery Books to Publish Blockchain Book

You've seen it on the cover of Forbes, Fortune, New York Times Magazine, and this month's MIT (News - Alert) Technology Review. The technology is blockchain, and it's the hottest thing in business. Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, in conjunction with blockchain media company Media Shower, announced today it will publish BLOCKCHAIN FOR EVERYONE by bestselling author Sir John Hargrave.

"Everyone is interested in blockchain, but few understand it," explained Hargrave. "It's like the early days of the Web, when the technology was still geeky and hard to use. You had to explain why anyone would be interested in the Internet. This book will explain blockchain to a non-technical audience."

BLOCKCHAIN FOR EVERYONE is divided into three sections: "What is Blockchain?" explains the technology in user-friendly language, with simple analogies and humorous descriptions; "Uses for Blockchain" outlines the different applications of blockhain being developed right now; and "Blockchain's Big Ideas" lays out the principles and philosophies for using blockchain to improve the world.

"Blockchain is a world-changing technology," said Jeremie Ruby-Strauss, Executive Editor at Gallery Books, "and this is a world-changing book. Our ambition is to build the on-ramp for a global audience to enter the exciting world of blockchain."

Ruby-Strauss acquired North American, Open Market, and Audio rights from Cathy Hemming at Cathy D. Hemming Literary Agency in association with McCormick Literary. Each format will have its own bonus material, just as with Sir John's last book, MIND HACKING. BLOCKCHAIN FOR EVERYONE is scheduled for publication in Spring 2019.
