Outcome Health Announces New Board MembersOutcome Health ("Outcome" or the "company") today announced the appointment of four new members to its Board of Managers ("Board"). Outcome is a technology company that provides health education at the moment of care to improve patient outcomes. The new board will provide guidance and oversight, working in partnership with executive leadership as the company continues to focus on its mission of improving outcomes for all stakeholders in the health community, including patients, caregivers and life sciences companies. Joining the Board are directors with experience across a range of relevant sectors including digital media, life sciences, software, analytics, communications and the financial services industries with broad expertise in leading organizations through transformations. The new appointments are a continuation of Outcome's commitment to governance, transparency and operational excellence which includes receiving the first point-of-care industry independent certification in accordance with BPA Worldwide rules for audience qualification. Outcome also joined the International Advertising Bureau to lead the development of the most rigorous platform and campaign audit standards in the industry. The company now offers every customer a third-party proof of performance audit on any campaign. Additionally, investments in new technology and automation have significantly improved measuring campaign effectiveness. Biographies of the new Outcome Health board members are included below: Mike Gamson is Senior Vice President, Global Solutions for LinkedIn where he leads the Global Solutions Organization (GSO) across the company's 30 offices worldwide. The GSO includes various functions ranging from field sales and professional services representatives, to research analysts, account managers and operational experts. Previously, Gamson was director of product marketing at Advent Software (News - Alert), a provider of enterprise software for investment managers, where he led the trading and order management business. Gamson began his career as an entrepreneur, founding a restaurant and boutique hotel which he eventually sold and joined Bank of America as a financial analyst. Gamson holds a BA from Amherst College. Robert Pelzer was President of Novartis Corporation from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that he was General Counsel of Novartis Pharma AG. Mr. Pelzer is currently a director of Aquinox Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Sierra Oncology, Inc. as well as number of private companies. He previously served on the board of Index Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He holds a B Comm and an LLB from the University of Alberta. Matthew Ray is the Founder and Managing Partner of Portage Point Partners where he has served as Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Lead Independent Director, Restructuring Committee Chairman and Strategic Advisor leading organizational, operational, financial and strategic transformations for middle market companies. Prior to founding Portage Point, Matt Co-Founded Victory Park Capital where he was a Senior Partner and one of three founding members responsible for multi-billion dollar asset growth comprising a diversified fund offering. Previously, he was a Senior Analyst at Magnetar Capital and started his career in corporate and investment banking. Matt has served on 13 Boards of Directors and currently serves as a director of Ascent Aviation Services. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Robert A. Schriesheim is chairman of Truax Partners LLC and partners with institutional investors while serving on the boards of companies undergoing strategic and financial transformations with significant experience in the information services, software and communications sector. Previously Schriesheim was the CFO of a number of public companies ranging from approximately $1 billion to $40 billion in revenue, including retailer Sears Holdings Corporation, global human resource solutions provider Hewitt Associates and Lawson Software, a global ERP software provider. He has also served as a board director of 10 public companies and is currently a director of four publicly traded companies including, real estate company Forest City Realty Trust, international investment bank Houlihan Lokey, Inc., wireless provider NII Holdings (News - Alert) Inc. (formerly Nextel International), semiconductor company Skyworks Solutions, Inc. and of privately held First Advantage, a global provider of analytics and outsourced talent solutions. Schriesheim has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Princeton University.
