New Turbonomic Partner Program Accelerates SMART Workload Automation Across Customers' On-Premises, Azure and AWS Environments

Turbonomic today announced a new Partner Program, increasing partner profitability through deal protection, margin protection, and incentives for new customers and growth attainment. Cloud adoption is transforming the delivery of IT services and support, resulting in customers facing highly complex questions about where their workloads should run. The new Turbonomic Partner Program enables partners to provide a full lifecycle of services and support to customers, armed with AI-powered workload automation that makes any type of workload SMART (self-managing, anywhere, in real-time). Through trustworthy, automated actions, customers can ensure workloads get the exact infrastructure resources needed, at exactly the right time, thereby assuring performance, lowering cost and maintaining compliance with business policies - continuously.

The new program is inclusive of Solution Providers, OEMs and Alliances, Technology Alliances, Cloud & Managed Service Providers, Systems Integrators, and Distributors. With partner profitably as its keystone, the program is built upon six value pillars including:

  • Incremental Services & Support Revenue, enabling partners to quickly build service and support practices around the Turbonomic platform with comprehensive training and accreditation.
  • Ecosystem Alignment, driving additional partner opportunities through engagement and joint offerings across the Turbonomic partner ecosystem, such as cloud planning and migration.
  • Deal Protection, protecting partners who find or apply significant effort in working opportunities. When partners are granted deal registration, they are ensured an exclusive position and advantage in the opportunity.
  • Customer Rewards, offering incentives to partners committed to growing their business and driving new customers to Turbonomic.
  • Enablement & Accreditation, ensuring partners have the most complete set of enablement programs and opportunities across all aspects of Turbonomic's technology and the customer lifecycle of sales, services and support.

Additionally, to deliver partners with the best possible experience, the new program includes a streamlined Market Development Funds (MDF) Program and a Next-Generation Partner Portal. The new Portal offers a unique experience based on partner progress within the onboarding process, segmentation, and role within their organization. Additionally, partners can now manage all leads and opportunities, deal registrations, MDF requests and claims through the portal, as well as access to training paths.

The program follows several strategic hires over the past two years, most recently including Chris Sullivan who joined Turbonomic as SVP of Global Channel and Alliances in February 2018. Prior to Turbonomic, Sullivan spent two years at Hortonworks and several years at VCE where he grew VCE's channel bsiness to more than $1.5 billion. Additionally, Chris Gorecki, VP of Global Channels, recently joined Turbonomic from VMware, and prior to that spent several years with Cisco (News - Alert) in both direct sales and channel leadership positions.

"The new Turbonomic Partner Program delivers customers unparalleled access to a greater pool of Hybrid Cloud experts and consultants, armed with disruptive workload automation technology," said Sullivan. "We expect the partner ecosystem to drive well over 75 percent of our revenue through the channel this year. In anticipation, we are making significant investments to make our partners profitable. Our success has been, and will continue to be, tied to our partners' success."

Turbonomic currently works with over 300 global technology alliance and channel partners, including Accenture (News - Alert), AHEAD, AWS, BMC, Cisco, CDW (News - Alert), DXC, Kovarus, Microsoft, Presidio, RoundTower, RTP, Sirius/Forsythe, Trace3, Technologent and many others.
