Governor Carney, Senators Carper and Coons, Representative Blunt Rochester, and Local Officials to Cut Ribbon for New Sallie Mae Facility


Governor John Carney, Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons, Representative Lisa Blunt Rochester, local officials, and community leaders will join Sallie Mae Chairman and CEO Raymond Quinlan and Sallie Mae employees to cut the ribbon for the company's second office in Delaware and celebrate a commitment of jobs to the First State. The new office, located at 86 Christiana Road in New Castle, will be home to more than 500 jobs for the company, which currently employs nearly 900 in Delaware.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for Sallie Mae's newest office and celebration of the commitment of new jobs to the First State. In addition, The Sallie Mae Fund - the company's charitable foundation - will present a significant contribution to the Food Bank of Delaware.
