Globetouch Announces Alfredo de Cárdenas as New CEO to Solidify Company Position in the IoT IndustryGlobetouch, a leader in global connectivity services for the connected car and the Internet of Things (IoT), has announced that Alfredo de Cárdenas has been appointed CEO of Globetouch, Inc. Prior to being appointed CEO, de Cárdenas served as Globetouch's COO. A telecoms veteran, de Cárdenas is experienced in managing international teams across numerous disciplines including sales, marketing, customer service, operations, product management and R&D. De Cárdenas, who first joined Globetouch in November 2017 as COO, will now be tasked with driving the company's global strategy forward as CEO, building on the company's position as an industry leader in the IoT/M2M connectivity marketplace. As COO at Syniverse Technologies, he oversaw the organization's cloud-based mobility services and strategies including roaming, messaging, real-time intelligence, and network lines of business. Additionally, he led the Enterprise organization and created a new business unit, Enterprise and Intelligent Solutions (EIS), which focused on driving Enterprise growth strategies while leveraging real-time intelligence, customer experience (CX) and engagement solutions.
