Eyelit Introduces the IP Shield™ Module in the Latest Release of Its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Software SuiteEyelit Inc. has released its latest version of the Eyelit Manufacturing™ software suite. The release includes the new Eyelit IP Shield module, used to enforce Intellectual Property (IP) security by protecting the privacy of confidential information such as product designs, manufacturing process flows, work-in-progress, and personnel and customer information. Eyelit developed IP Shield in collaboration with global 500 companies that lead the world in innovation, including large Research and Development consortiums. IP Shield helps companies control access to confidential information across manufacturing networks and shared production systems. This is a critical concern in electronics and semiconductor industry segments, including integrated device manufacturers (IDM), wafer foundries, outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) companies, and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers. The release also includes significant enhancements across the entire Eyelit software suite. For example, the Operator Certification module was enhanced to control equipment maintenance and repair tasks based on technicians' certifications and training. The module can be configured to support time or usage-based certification expiry, with optional self-certification. Certifications can be tied to major and minor revisions of training and specification documents. New productivity enablers were included throughout other modules such as Asset Management, EquipmentConnect, Quality Management System (QMS), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Special Work Requests (SWR), and ecipe Management System (RMS). Additional enhancements to the core MES included a new Variable and Attribute Builder to streamline product and process configuration, with configurable validation controls to ensure processing conformance. Enhancements to Data Collection and Sampling simplify real-time defect analysis (RDA) models at sampling steps.
