O'Reilly and NumFOCUS Announce First Jupyter Pop-up in Boston

O'Reilly, the premier source for insight-driven learning on technology and business, and NumFOCUS, a nonprofit supporting better science through open code, today announced they are co-presenting the first-ever Jupyter Pop-up on March 21 in Boston. The event will feature insights from data science and technology experts on best practices, time-saving tips and practical use cases for Jupyter in business.

Jupyter's open-source ecosystem has enabled the world's most data-driven organizations to easily analyze data, share insights and create dynamic, reproducible data science. Jupyter Pop-up aims to empower professionals across industries with the knowledge of how they can utilize Jupyter to transform their data into a competitive advantage.

O'Reilly and NumFOCUS have tapped into their global community of experts to create an event agenda that covers how to use Jupyter to solve "last mile" issues of communicating data to management, create self-documenting and future-friendly apps and widgets and streamline workflow. Speakers include:

  • Paco Nathan, O'Reilly Media
  • Matthias Bussonnier, Project Jupyter
