SSPR CEO Heather Kelly attended Women Who Tech's sixth pitch contest to award two startup finalists with pro bono PR services. The agency will partner with Women Who Tech because of its mission to disrupt the startup culture and VC economy that have made it difficult for women entrepreneurs to access capital. By working with Neopenda and Curie Co., SSPR will further its mission to empower female leaders and pave the way for emerging sustainability and green tech solutions.

"As a female CEO and advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, I am thrilled about continuing our Conscious Capitalism program to support nonprofits and startups that #doGood," says Kelly. "SSPR wants to continue conversations about the diversity (or lack thereof) in tech and champion startups that celebrate female leadership and strive to solve global systematic issues."

"It's so important that businesses like SSPR are supporting women-led startups an helping to close the gender gap in funding. We're excited to have SSPR partnering with the Women Startup Challenge to work with two of our extraordinary finalists," says Allyson Kapin, Women Who Tech Founder.

This is the second Conscious Capitalism program for SSPR. After piloting the program with The Alliance Center at the Colorado Springs headquarters, SSPR aims to continue establishing strong community ties with nonprofits and startups in need of pro bono PR services to improve organizational effectiveness in resource saving, brand messaging and media opportunities.
