Netskope Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27018:2014 Certifications

LOS ALTOS, Calif., Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Netskope, the leader in cloud security, today announced that its Active Platform achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27018:2014 certifications, the international standards outlining best practices for information security management systems and the protection of personally identifiable information in the cloud. Compliance with these standards demonstrates Netskope's commitment to providing enterprises the tools necessary to secure their most sensitive data. The management system was inspected by Coalfire ISO, Inc., a certification body for management systems accredited through the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).

Established by the International Standards Organization (ISO), the standards require the certification of an organization's information security management controls for data security and business continuity. The certification applies to every level of an organization's IT infrastructure stack, including asset management, access control, human resource security, and application security.

"The cloud has become a fact of life in the enterprise, but that doesn't mean you need to sacrifice security for the convenience and increased productivity offered by cloud solutions," said Sanjay Beri, founder and CEO, Netskope. "At Netskope, we want to empower organizations to take ull advantage of the cloud without any trade-offs, and our compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27018:2014 standards furthers that goal."
