Livongo Names Lorie Fiber Chief Marketing Officer


MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Livongo Health, the leading consumer digital health company that empowers people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives, today announced the appointment of Lorie Fiber as its Chief Marketing Officer.

The addition comes at a time when Livongo is growing rapidly. More than 300 large self-insured employers, health systems, health plans, and pharmacy benefit managers have chosen Livongo's platform based in large part on proven clinical1 and financial2 results, as well as strong member3 satisfaction. Fiber will be responsible for educating the market about the depth and breadth of the Livongo platform, supporting adoption and use of the company's product and services for diabetes and hypertension, and introducing solutions addressing other chronic conditions, which are expected soon. She will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Glen Tullman.

Fiber joins Livongo from IBM Watson Health, where her leadership roles included headingup customer success and growth for the unit's Global Ecosystem. Previously, Lorie was at Castlight Health, where she spearheaded landmark engagement programs based on proprietary research about consumer behavior in digital health and played a key role in their Initial Public Offering. Fiber has also held executive positions at Weber Shandwick and Edelman, marketing firms known for pioneering integrated digital campaigns targeting health professionals and patients. Her career spans more than 25 years working with organizations ranging from start-up companies to global brands including Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly & Company, Abbott, and Amylin Pharmaceuticals.
