MIT Technology Review Names Megan McCarthy Executive EditorCAMBRIDGE, Mass., Feb. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, MIT Technology Review announced that Megan McCarthy has been named executive editor. McCarthy will report to Gideon Lichfield, who took over as editor-in-chief in December, and will manage the publication's editorial staff and journalistic output. "Megan has done it all, from Silicon Valley gossip blogging to running an algorithmic news aggregator to managing teams in major newsrooms, and she's seen the best and the worst of the tech industry and the media that cover it," said Lichfield. McCarthy has worked at, among others, Valleywag, Mediagazer, the New York Observer, Reuters, and Fortune, where she was deputy managing editor of Fortune.com.
