Collinear Announces Additions to its Senior Leadership Team and the Opening of a New Asia Pacific Regional Office in SingaporeCollinear, developer of ultra-high capacity over-the-air connectivity solutions for transforming network communications, today announced recent key additions to its senior leadership team, and the opening of its first international office in Singapore, key milestones as the company prepares to launch its first product, the Alex 1.0 Hybrid solution. Further bolstering Collinear's growth in the global marketplace, the company, which was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Silicon Valley, has hired Reza Norouzian as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Development. A proven entrepreneur, Norouzian has built four consecutive ventures and led each to significant revenue and gross margins, resulting in profitable exits. Norouzian began his career as a VLSI development engineer at General Instruments and brings to Collinear a robust history of start-up success and targeted business development. "Our team inherently understands the Asian Pacific region's surging mobile data growth challenge and immediate need for a technology that increases network capacity to meet demand," said Reza Norouzian. In addition, Collinear has appointed Richard Jeffares as Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific. Jeffares brings 25 years of mobile and fixed network infrastructure knowledge to Collinear, as well as an in-depth background in business intelligence across the banking, media and Internet sectors. Pior to Collinear, Richard was Chief Operating Officer at Ultrafast Fiber in New Zealand, and Chief Technology Officer at UK Broadband in London where his team led testing between 2.xGHz and 3.xGhz devices. Jeffares was also Chief Technology Officer at Freedom4 Plc where he undertook extensive TD-LTE (News - Alert) field trials, assisting with standards development and ultimately proving much of the 4G enhanced packet core traffic engineering now operational within LTE. In his role, Jeffares will oversee Collinear's new office in Singapore, which will serve as a key business center for overseeing all commercial contracts and business operations. The office will also provide technical support, and enable its team to deliver a superior customer experience across multiple time zones within the APAC region. "Over the past three months, Collinear has undertaken an extensive review of potential cities in search of a suitable regional headquarters location," said Jeffares "Our final decision to select Singapore was based on its accessible, skilled workforce, and the Singapore Media and Communications regulatory body's proactive action in promoting new use cases and technologies such as 5G and mmWave."
