Higher Ed Administrators Trade Know How and Ideas at GlyphEd's GlyphWORLD™ 201Alexandria, Va, Jan. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GlyphEd™, the leading provider of interactive data visualization and discovery technology for college and university management teams, hosted administrators from Boston College, Gannon University, John Carroll University, and the University of Notre Dame at the first annual GlyphWorld™ user conference, January 11th and 12th. Users of GlyphEd’s data visualization software for Enrollment Management gathered to discuss how they are driving efficiencies and effectiveness with data and data visualization. GlyphWorld™ kicked off with a brief year in review from GlyphEd™ founder and CEO, Mark Sloan. GlyphEd™ has shown rapid growth over the year thanks to its unique user focused products and the GlyphEd™ Early Adopter Program. Member schools quickly dove into working sessions that focused on marketing and recruiting, admissions, student success and retention, and financial aid. Participants shared data and program best practices, how each use GlyphEd™ in admissions, retention and financial aid, and provided working suggestions for the next year of GlyphEd™ software development. "It was an incredibly insightful, productive, and user focused series of conversations," said Mark Sloan, Founder and CEO of GlyphEd™. "We love working with schools and we're excited that these schools could make it to GlyphWorld™. Their ideas and working knowledge will go directly into enhancements to GlyphEd™’s software.” GlyphEd™ presents student data related to recruiting, admisions, financial aid, student success and retention within a single graphical/visual representation on the user's computer screen. Users can view all of their student related data holistically and in context, to enhance analysis and find answers that inform student success programs more quickly and easily. Member schools at GlyphWorld™ provided anecdotes and measures of success as they discussed their use of GlyphEd™ within their job functions. Admissions teams shared experiences of finding quality candidates in previously underrepresented cohorts. Finance teams shared their needs and how data visualization expedites their analysis. Retention teams discussed how data visualization helped them to identify at risk students more quickly, enabling their schools to create meaningful programs for those students – and ensure achievement of university financial goals. "GlyphWorld™ was designed so that early adopters could have the floor, share their ideas, tell us what works and what doesn't in our products, and have a lot of fun throughout that process," added Sloan. "We want to help schools provide the best education possible for their students, so we are designing and building with and for them. We're very fortunate to have such a great group of customers and users. We look forward to our next GlyphWorld™ event."
