World Wide Technology Announces Office Move to Accommodate Growth

World Wide Technology (WWT), a market-leading technology solution provider, today celebrated the relocation of their Northern California office to Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, California. The new office space is approximately 18,000 square feet, which makes it three times larger than WWT's previous office in Northern California. The new facility is brimming with cutting-edge technology, and will house more than 150 employees.

"This move represents an exciting development for World Wide Technology (News - Alert), and we wouldn't be here today without our strong customer base and strategic partnerships with key companies headquartered in the Bay Area," said Holly Lind, area vice-president, Northwest/Northern California Division, World Wide Technology. "We've grown an average of 38 percent year over year since 2010, and are pleased that the new space can accommodate our growing team enabling us to continue hiring talent to fill key positions within the organization."

The space also reflects WWT's innovative culture and focuses on continuing to make WWT a great place to work. The facility features telepresence-enabled conference rooms and stations where teams can collaborate on solutions with colleagues in the office, as well as with customers, partners and team members offsite. The local team will also be able to host virtual tours of the company's St. Louis-based, Advanced Technology Center (ATC), an ecosystem customers, partners and employees can use to design, build, educte, demonstrate and deploy innovative technology products and integrated architectural solutions. Employees will also be able to enjoy the office's lakeside view, walk to nearby restaurants, or work out in the Bishop Ranch gym during breaks.

"We are thrilled to welcome WWT to the Bishop Ranch community in San Ramon," said Bill Clarkson, mayor, San Ramon. "Bishop Ranch's commitment to sustainability, safety and employee wellness are perfectly aligned with WWT's core values, and we look forward to watching WWT grow in their new home."

In honor of the relocation, WWT today hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house. Partners, customers, local community members and employees gathered to experience the ceremony with Mayor Clarkson; Jim Kavanaugh, CEO, WWT; Ann Marr, vice-president, Global Human Resources, WWT; and the area's local leadership team. Additionally, with the office's conference rooms named after Napa Valley Wines, WWT's partners hosted a wine-tasting happy hour to celebrate the office relocation.
