"We at Schwan's understand the importance of family mealtime," said Pat Anderson, senior vice president sales & marketing for Schwan's Home Service, Inc. "We wanted to help some of the most vulnerable families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with healthy, balanced meals they could feel good about serving. Jason shares our community commitment and this particular organization is near and dear to his heart, so it was an easy decision for us."

In addition to delivering the donated Schwan's/i>® food, Witten took the time to visit with fans and play catch with some of the children. "I've been fortunate to play in Dallas my entire career. This community means a great deal to my family and me. Visiting The Gatehouse and delivering Schwan's food was rewarding and a tremendous honor," said Jason Witten.

Lisa Rose, president of The Gatehouse, adds, "At The Gatehouse, we believe a key way to build a happy and healthy family is to spend time together around the table. Schwan's is helping make that possible by providing the good food needed so families look forward to the process of preparing food and the fellowship that happens when they enjoy something good together."

Schwan's strives to improve the quality of life in communities where employees live and work. The company focuses on exceptional efforts to end hunger, promote youth education and leadership development, as well as provide essential services that advance healthier communities.

Celebrating 65 years of delivering high-quality foods, Schwan's is partnering with Witten to serve as its brand ambassador for the month of January for its Home Meal Advantage™ campaign. The campaign, which leads up to the big game in the company's hometown of Minneapolis, Minn., features Witten's 'dad-joke' tips that will deliver smiles to football and food fans alike. Schwan's embarks on this campaign as it elevates its presence as a founding partner of the Minnesota Super Bowl LII Host Committee.
