Mojo Networks Completes Security Assessment Report for FedRAMP Certification

Mojo Networks, a pioneer in Cognitive WiFi (News - Alert)™, announced today that the company has completed its security assessment report (SAR), a critical step in achieving certification for The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP).

Earlier this year, Mojo became the first cloud WiFi vendor to achieve SSAE-16 SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 attestations for security, availability, and confidentiality of cloud-based WiFi management applications. For this most recent certification, Mojo requested 3PAO services from Kratos (News - Alert) Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: KTOS), who conducted an independent assessment against the FedRAMP Moderate Baseline and delivered the results in a Security Assessment Report (SAR).

"We're well on our way to being fully certified for the federal market," said Rick Wilmer, CEO of Mojo Networks. "For over a decade, we've protected the highest levels of government with our best-in-class Wireless Intrusion (News - Alert) Prevention Systems (WIPS). Mojo is uniquely suited to deliver complete Enterprise WiFi solutions to Federal leaders who want to leverage the massive benefits of cloud-managed wireless networks."

According to Admiral Robert Day (News - Alert), former CIO, United States Coast Guard, and senior advisor to the Chertoff Group, "In their days as AirTight Networks, the Mojo team was instrumental in protecting the U.S. Government against dgital threats and intrusions. I'm glad to see they're continuing to lead the industry in cloud security for WiFi management."

The benefits of cloud-managed wireless networks for the federal government are many, including lower initial procurement costs, drastically easier setup and management, reduced support and maintenance costs, and improved network troubleshooting and performance.

Jim Pflaging, Principal, Technology Sector and Strategy Practice Lead, at The Chertoff Group, noted, "Agencies across the federal government are moving to cloud-based application access and transitioning towards an All Wireless Office (AWO). As the Federal workforce increasingly becomes mobile or even virtual, wireless access to these applications has become core to the Federal employee. Mojo Networks delivers critical security features and network reliability to address these changes."

"The rigorous security practices in place at Mojo Networks have earned them a very positive security assessment report," said James Neidich, Director of Cybersecurity Services at Kratos. "We reviewed and tested 325 security controls and control enhancements related to safeguards and countermeasures to protect information and information system confidentiality, integrity, and availability."
