Pharmacy Times Continuing Education™ to Host Pharmacists Reaching Out®: Improving Treatment and Care in Patients with Lung CancerPharmacy Times Continuing Education™, a leader in continuing education for retail, health-system, managed care and specialty pharmacists, in conjunction with the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) will host the activity, "Pharmacists Reaching Out®: Improving Treatment and Care in Patients with Lung Cancer," on Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Swan Hotel in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Attendees will be able to live stream the 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. portion of the seminar. "We are excited to host this seminar tailored to address the changing oncology landscape for health system and specialty pharmacists. The activity will offer the latest and essential findings in lung cancer and the faculty presenters will highlight how this impacts pharmacists. Our expert faculty will also discuss the integrated approach to delivering pharmaceutical care to lung cancer patients and communicate tactics to better serve their patients," said David Heckard, president PTCE™. Current treatment approaches in lung cancer therapy, and the pharmacist's role in a collaborative healthcare team will all be addressed.
