Grant Thornton taps Jonathan Eaton to lead Supply Chain Management practice

In this role, Eaton will oversee the delivery of the firm's supply chain services offerings, including strategy and transformation, integrated demand and supply planning, strategic sourcing and procurement solutions, analytics and visibility solutions, as well as transportation and network optimization.

Eaton comes to Grant Thornton as a proven leader with more than 20 years of experience counseling clients on rapidly changing business landscapes and developing supply chain strategies that support positive business results. He has a track record of success transforming supply chains in a variety of industries, such as consumer and industrial products, food and beverage, retail, auto, oil and gas, life sciences, technology and financial services.

Eaton is a member of the University of Tennessee Supply Chain Forum, Michigan State University Supply Chain Management Council, Supply Chain Leaders in Action, the Council of SC Management Professionals and the Grocery Manufacturers Association.


He received a master's of business administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he was an Industry Supply Chain partner at Chainalytics LLC.
