Embarcadero Announces CodeRage XII Virtual Conference

Embarcadero (a division of Idera, Inc.), a provider of cross-platform application developer productivity tools, today announced its 12th annual virtual developer conference, CodeRage XII, will take place November 7-9. This free conference is a developer's source for the latest on Delphi (News - Alert), C++Builder, InterBase and more. This year, Embarcadero is adding more platforms, more technology and more learning opportunities for Linux, Sencha Ext JS, Windows, macOS, Android (News - Alert), iOS and more.

Out of the 76 online sessions and 58 speakers scheduled for CodeRage XII, a few notable standouts include:

  • Robert C. "Uncle Bob" Martin, author of "Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile (News - Alert) Software Craftsmanship," is speaking on "The Clean Coder - An Introduction to Software Professionaism"
  • Steven McConnell, author of "Code Complete," is speaking on "Managing Technical Debt"
  • Marco Cantu, author of the Mastering Delphi series, is speaking on "Introduction to ExtJS for Delphi Developers"
  • Ray Konopka, author of "Developing Custom Delphi Components," shares his "IDE Productivity Tips & Tricks"
  • Cary Jensen, author of "Delphi in Depth: FireDAC," speaks on "FireDAC in Depth: Creating and Using Indexes"

"This year is ramping up to be the biggest CodeRage ever," said Jim McKeeth, chief developer advocate and engineer at Embarcadero. "In addition to the usual sessions on the latest features with our development tools, we're also adding industry luminaries with best practices on new technologies and platforms. Developers can attend as much or as little of CodeRage as they want, so they can join the sessions that best suit their interests."

This year, CodeRage is teaming up with Embarcadero Academy to make the user experience even richer for attendees. This is also one of the first chances for the Embarcadero community to learn about Sencha, the leading provider of JavaScripts, web development frameworks and tools, which Idera, Inc. acquired in August.
