Across America, telemedicine is redefining healthcare delivery, making care more accessible at lower cost to more people. For Tennesseans, that means quality care delivered easily to rural patients who live in hard-to-reach areas, as exemplified by Vidyo-powered telehealth programs in places like Alaska that do 40,000+ remote consults per year across hundreds of thousands of square miles. For healthcare facilities, it means avoiding unnecessary transports to the ER, reducing costs and ensuring emergency response teams are free for urgent cases.

On October 31st, join Vidyo's inaugural healthcare summit where innovative practitioners and technologists will explore opportunities and ideas to continue to transform healthcare with telemedicine.

Talks will include:

  • "The New Business Of Virtual Care - Large Scale Operations With No Boundaries" by Gilad Epstein, Chief Operating Officer, OTN. The Ontario Telemedicine Network relies on telemedicine to deliver care to rural locations across a province of 13 million people.
  • A panel on "Hitting the High Notes of Patient Engagement and Adoption," moderated by Forrester (News - Alert) Senior Analyst Kate McCarthy, and featuring telemedicine champions from Mayo Clinic, Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare and Medical University of South Carolina.
  • A keynote speech from Dr. Jay Sanders entitled "The Future of Healthcare." Dr. Sanders is a co-founder of the American Telemedicine Association and "the father of telemedicine."
  • "Making a Difference in Extreme Conditions: Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium's Virtual Palliative Care Program." The ANTHC uses telemedicine to engage thousands of patients across 200 extremely rural provider locations to ensure compliance and reduce readmissions.

Also at the Summit, Vidyo will recognize customers with its Leaders Innovating Telehealth (LIT) Award, honoring care providers who have made a significant impact on people's lives through telemedicine.

Register here to attend the free event. We hope to see you there! (Halloween costume optional)
