Wolters Kluwer Adds Robust International Tax Content to Award-Winning CCH AnswerConnect

During the 13th annual CCH Connections User Conference, Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting announced the addition of international content to its award-winning CCH® AnswerConnect, a new resource for tax and accounting professionals who are looking for immediate access to accurate answers in one place. This adds to the robust content available on CCH (News - Alert) AnswerConnect, which now covers all areas of federal, state and international tax.

"Tax professionals need to deliver value to their clients and companies every single day. To do this, they need access to expertise and productivity solutions that integrate seamlessly into their daily activities and workflow," said Josh Braunstein, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting, Research & Learning US. "We created CCH AnswerConnect because our customers' needs and the needs of our customers' clients have changed and evolved, and we need to deliver a solution that can anticipate and adapt to their needs."

Launched in May, CCH AnswerConnect accelerates the "speed to answer" by providing simpler, faster access to accurate answers in one place. Unlike traditional tax research products that require users to search through various publications and documents to find what they are looking for, CCH AnswerConnect offers users an option to access answers along with expert guidance tohelp them quickly, easily and confidently complete their work. In the past few months, CCH AnswerConnect received a coveted 2017 International Business Awards (Gold Stevie Winner: Best New Product or Service of the Year - Business to Business Services), and helped Wolters Kluwer win "Americas Tax Technology Firm of the Year" from the International Tax Review.

With the addition of international content, CCH AnswerConnect comprehensively covers international tax issues in more than 90 countries for inbound and outbound transactions, and includes actionable coverage of foreign tax systems, key tax rates, explanations, guidance and analysis. CCH AnswerConnect also boasts new country tax snapshots and a new treaty tool to find a treaty between two countries.

"Our customers regularly tell us that understanding and staying on top of increasing regulatory complexity is a top priority," continued Braunstein. "With CCH AnswerConnect's new international content and tools, firms, multi-national enterprises and their advisors will be better prepared to quickly get the right answers and insights to the ever-growing number of international tax-related issues, compliance requirements and risks they must deal with in the US and around the world."

CCH AnswerConnect was built with customer feedback in mind to be intuitive, practical and easy-to-use, with a similar look and feel to common search engines professionals use on a daily basis. Importantly, information is topic based, so that users can see the full range of information and insight available on any given topic in one place. Since the launch of CCH AnswerConnect, customers have raved about everything from the ease of navigation to the way the content is organized to its simple search functionality.

According to CCH AnswerConnect customer Kelly S. Boswell, CPA & Tax Manager at Akin, Doherty, Klein & Feuge, P.C.: "I love the ease of using CCH AnswerConnect. Before I had to Google (News - Alert) to get the exact tax code or keywords before going to the tax research software but now I can go straight to CCH AnswerConnect. It has cut research time in half, works like Google, is so easy to operate and I don't dread research anymore!"
