Crimson Hexagon Expands Executive Leadership Amid Unprecedented Company Growth

Crimson Hexagon, the global leader in providing consumer insights from social data, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointments of Lou Jordano as chief marketing officer and senior vice president, Bud McGann as chief revenue officer and senior vice president of global sales, and Dana Miller as chief customer officer, in addition to her current role of senior vice president of client services. The addition of these executive roles will enhance the consistency of customer experience across the organization for brand and agency customers seeking actionable consumer insights.

The expansion of the Crimson Hexagon leadership team comes at a time of growth for the company. Monthly recurring revenue has nearly doubled in the recent past, bookings are up over 40 percent on a year-over-year basis, and unique user growth has increased over 40 percent, as market pull surges from nearly every sector and segment. The appointments follow fast on the heels of several technological innovations, such as industry-leading image capabilities and a newly designed user interface, that mark the company's evolution from multiple standalone products to an integrated enterprise-class platform.

"Crimson Hexagon's rapid growth is further evidence of the market's recognition of the value o moving beyond analyzing just structured data in a database to also analyzing unstructured text and images. We make that transition easy," said Stephanie Newby, CEO of Crimson Hexagon. "Not only can our customers mine the largest repository of social media data on the planet - over 1 trillion social posts - but they can do so by leveraging our array of AI capabilities to derive consumer opinion on any topic."

Lou Jordano brings to Crimson Hexagon more than 20 years of experience in building and leading high impact teams within global enterprises and high growth startups. Jordano joins Crimson Hexagon from Attivio, where as CMO he led the company's marketing, business development, and sales operations strategy and execution. Prior to Attivio, Jordano served as CMO and led business development for Ektron. Previously, Jordano held marketing leadership positions at TIBCO Software and EMC Corporation (News - Alert).

As CRO and SVP of global sales, Bud McGann will manage the sales organization and also serve as the architect of the company's revenue generation strategy. He joins the company with more than 20 years' experience in software sales and a record of scaling companies and making successful exits. Most recently, McGann was CRO of Tidemark Systems. Prior to that, he held sales leadership positions at SuccessFactors, which was acquired by SAP (News - Alert) in 2012.

Since 2013, Dana Miller has served as Crimson Hexagon's SVP of client services. She brings to her new role more than two decades of international experience growing client services organizations. In her new position as chief customer officer, Miller will be responsible for the end-to-end customer experience and overall retention of clients.
