Israeli Embassy & Rishi Media Ask Students: What Is The Future Of Technology?


WASHINGTON, Oct. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC and global consulting firm Rishi Media will partner to host an international student essay competition, providing winners from both the US and Israel a chance to meet some of the greatest minds in technology including Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Inc.; Martin Eberhard, co-founder of Tesla Motors; Randi Zuckerberg, founder of Zuckerberg Media; and Ray Kurzweil cofounder and chancellor of Singularity university among others, at the 2017 Future of Technology Summit.

The Embassy of Israel and global consulting firm Rishi Media announce the launch of the 2017 Future of Technology Student Essay Competition, open now through Otober 20, 2017.



The essay competition asks school students in the United States and Israel—two global leaders in technological innovation—about their visions for how technologies developed today will shape the way we live, learn, work, and connect in the future.

Student winners of the essay competition will receive flights and accommodation to attend the 2017 Future of Technology Summit, an event bringing together in Washington DC, on November 2nd, 2017, education leaders, policy makers, and practitioners to learn about what tech advancements mean for students and schools.


"A highlight for our essay competition winners will be the chance to meet and share their ideas with these tech icons who care deeply about educating the next generation," says Shaji Nair, Executive Director of FTS2017.

Teachers and school administrators are encouraged to register their school for the competition online and share the opportunity with students before the October 20th deadline.
