Capture the perfect portrait bkeh images with dual front and back cameras

To enhance selfies, Honor 9i's front-facing camera features a 13MP lens and a 2MP lens. The f/2.0 13MP lens focuses on image rendering, and the 1.75um 2MP color lens focuses on capturing depth of field information. The two lenses work in unison - one for image rendering, the other for bokeh effect - to accentuate every detail. To ensure users capture the selfie they want, the front-facing smart selfie butterfly lighting/smart selfie toning flash (either-or), features a 120-degree lighting angle.

The rear-facing camera combines a 16MP lens and a 2MP lens. The 16MP lens is responsible for image rendering, and the 2MP lens captures depth of field information to create a professional bokeh effect.

Stunning FullView display technology: 5.9-inch screen on a 5.5-inch device

Honor 9i features a dazzling 5.9-inch display that delivers an unprecedented viewing experience and contributes to the device's elegant and modern design. The breathtaking 5.9-inch Huawei FullView display transitions smoothly into the soft, curved edges to create a single, seamless unibody device. To ensure a sharp and clear image on the Honor 9i's bigger screen, the device features FHD+ resolution with a high Pixel Per Inch (PPI) density.

The Honor 9i sits perfectly in one's hand with its 18:9 aspect ratio and offers a more comfortable split-screen experience for users to effectively multitask, allowing two apps to be run side-by-side for increased productivity. On the back of the Honor 9i, the flashlight, fingerprint sensor, USB socket and dual-lens camera all lie on the central axis of the phone. On the front, the dual-lens camera sits on the right, a reflection of the camera flash and distance sensor on the left. Achieving this level of near-perfect symmetry is an intelligent and purposeful design achievement.

A perfect balance of software and hardware

Highly optimized combination of Huawei's proprietary Kirin 659 chipset, EMUI 5.1 and 4GB of RAM + 64GB of ROM delivers outstanding power efficiency and is capable of comfortably running multiple tasks efficiently. Honor 9i's 3340 mAh battery can easily last up to two days of ordinary use, with talk time up to 20 hours or video play up to 9 hours, which varies according to local networks and user habits.

Honor 9i also comes with advanced audio capabilities featuring the proprietary Huawei Histen audio system from its 2012 lab, which uses six algorithms to ensure music and movies sound extraordinary. The device also supports Bluetooth aptX for better audio quality and better synchronization between audio and video making gaming and movie watching experiences more immersive.
