From 1986 to 1996, Jackson worked for National Semiconductor Corporation, most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the Analog and Mixed Signal division. He also held various positions at Texas Instruments (News - Alert) Incorporated, including engineering and management positions, from 1973 to 1986. Jackson currently serves on the board of directors of Veeco Instruments (News - Alert), Inc., and has served on the board of directors of the Semiconductor Industry Association since 2008.
