The Big Buck World Championship Celebrates 10th Anniversary at the Hard Rock Las Vegas with $100,000 Prize Pool!


ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill., Sept. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- With over $100,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs, players from around the world are vying for a coveted spot at the 2017 Big Buck World Championship and Ladies Tourney at the Hard Rock Las Vegas on October 27th and 28th. Celebrating the 10th year of the largest arcade eSports event in the world, players and fans alike are counting down the days. Players start by playing their local online Big Buck HD machines frequently from May - September to qualify for their shot at the $100,000 prize pool.

The players will gather in Las Vegas, NV to battle head-to-head for the $20,000 top prize and to have their name inscribed on Pappy's Jug. The 2017 Big Buck World Championship will be held October 27th and 28th at the Hard Rock Las Vegas. Coinciding with the event, Stern Pinball, the world's oldest and largest producer of arcade-quality pinball games, will be teaming up with the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) to host the inaugural Heads-Up Pinball Championship where the winner will be taking home a new Aerosmith Pro Pinball Machine, a trophy, plus the title of IFPA Heads-Up Pinball Champion. The Heads-Up Pinball Championship will consist of unique head-to-head challenges where competitors will be playing simultaneously on two different machines of the same title. The player who completes the challenge first will be declared the winner for that game.

The Big Buck World Championship is an annual event, started in 2008, that celebrates the community dedicated to playing Big Buck Hunter. The event is held in different cities of the US in the Fall of each year. Prior venues include Chicago, New York, Minneapolis, and Austin.
