DoorDash Expands Service In New York Metropolitan Area, Offering Door-To-Door Delivery From Top Local Restaurants

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DoorDash -- the technology company connecting customers with the best local businesses through door-to-door delivery -- today announced service to 47 additional towns and neighborhoods in the greater New York metropolitan area, including Queens, South Brooklyn, Central New Jersey, Hoboken, Jersey City, Staten Island, Suffolk and Westchester Counties, and southern Connecticut. This announcement marks DoorDash's expansion into 46 major metropolitan markets across the U.S. and Canada.

At launch, delivery through DoorDash is available from hundreds of restaurants in the area, with delivery fees ranging from $1.99-$4.99 and availability from 10:00am until 10:00pm, from a vast selection of local favorites. Restaurants available at launch include Applebee's in Staten Island; Eastside Sushi, Moe's Southwest Grill, and The Halal Guys in New Jersey; and The Banh Mi Shop, Iron Tomato, Madison Kitchen, Roc N' Ramen and Sushi Mike's in Westchester.

DoorDash's national partnerships with P.F. Chang's, The Cheesecake Factory and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews will extend into these new New York metropolitan areas.
