Teleflex to Present at the 47th Annual Meeting of the International Continence Society ("ICS")

Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a leading global provider of medical devices for Critical Care, Urology and Surgery, will showcase its advanced bladder management product lines at the 47th ICS (Annual Meeting of the International Continence Society) in Florence, Italy, on September 12-15, 2017.

Teleflex offers one of the broadest ranges of intermittent catheters in the industry. Its products address the needs of acute and home care settings and help to reduce the risk of nosocomial urinary tract infections. Throughout the event, Teleflex will present its more advanced intermittent catheter systems.

As a special highlight Teleflex will present the Liquick X-treme® System, a smart solution with an innovative catheter system which takes simplicity to a new level.

Faster -Simpler - Safer: The Liquick X-treme® System Sets New Standards in Self-Catheterisation

X-treme Speed:
The Liquick X-treme® System is ready to use out of the packaging as the hydrophilic coated catheter is pre-activated. This makes the catheterisation user-friendly and as quick, easy and convenient as possible, whether at home or out and about.

X-treme Comfort:
A simple non-touch insertion is guaranteed. The convenient packaging has an attractive modern design containing the ready-to-use SafetyCat® Safety Catheter, and is easy to open, even with limited manual dexterity due to the closing flap with finger hole. Equipped with a blue introduction aid and a sterile protective inner sleeve, which covers the complete surface of the catheter, the Liquick X-treme® System allows a highly comfortable, quick and completely non-touch catheterisation. All that you have to do is open, remove and insert.

p> X-treme Safety:

The Liquick X-treme® System delivers high quality standards for reliable safety. It features the SafetyCat® Safety Catheter which has been made in Germany for 30 years and used by millions of people worldwide. A gentle and smooth catheterisation is ensured due to its softly rounded Soft Cat Eyes, the flexible Ergothan tip and the new pre-activated hydrophilic coating.

Based on advanced technology and high quality standards, Teleflex provides first class urological products focused on the needs of our users. The home care range from Teleflex also includes gel-based catheter systems and a wide selection of additional medical aids that provide a reliable and gentle urinary diversion.

Teleflex continuously strives to find optimal solutions to make intermittent self-catheterisation as safe, discreet and simple as can be.

The Liquick X-treme® System will be available in Germany from September 19, 2017.
