MetLife Named to the 2017 Disability Equality IndexMetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) today announced that it has been named to the 2017 list of "Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion" by the United States Business Leadership Network (USBLN) and American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD). This is the first time MetLife has been recognized for its efforts to provide a more inclusive workplace for people with disabilities. The Disability Equality Index (DEI) is a national annual benchmarking survey that objectively scores businesses, on a 100-point scale, on their disability inclusion policies and practices. It is a joint initiative of the AAPD and USBLN and was developed by the DEI Advisory Committee, a diverse group of business leaders, policy experts and disability advocates.
