Back2School Contest Prizes

"As the 2017-2018 school year launches, Digi-Key is excited about the prospect of partnering with students and faculty while they pursue their passion for education, development, success, and fun," said Bob Brown, Director of Academic Business Development. "These are dynamic times in the electronic and computer industries and we look forward to working together to create solutions for the challenges that students will face this year. We hope this contest will be a fun way to encourage and inspire success this year."

The InstaLab was created with the intention of providing enough gear to turn an electronics student's dorm room into their own maker space. The kit includes over 20 different products from many of Digi-Key's trusted supplier partners.

Mentor Graphics', a Siemen's business, PADS® MakerPro is a printed circuit board (PCB) design solution featuring direct access, through PartQuest™, to Digi-Key's part catalog for more than a million ready-to-use symbols and footprits, and to PADS AMS Cloud, a free, cloud-based, analog/mixed-signal circuit simulator. PADS MakerPro normally requires a one-time fee of $499, but two winners will receive the upgraded software for free.
