EXOS Expands Reach With Acquisition of D1 Sports Medicine


Today, EXOS, a leader in human performance, announced their acquisition of D1 Sports Medicine, a company that partners with top sports medicine orthopedists to offer athletes physical therapy services and ensure they have a safe and optimal return after injury. The new EXOS Physical Therapy locations will help accelerate EXOS' health care strategy of partnering with hospitals and health systems to serve local populations with proactive health, physical therapy, and performance solutions.

"With the acquisition of D1 Sports Medicine, we'll be able to further the EXOS physical therapy model, which upgrades traditional physical therapy services by delivering integrated performance therapy solutions."

EXOS' physical therapy services have been tested and delivered to countless elite athletes, military personnel, and corporate employees, and bridge the gap between traditional rehabilitation and performance training by using a holistic and personalized approach to each injury.

With the addition of the new EXOS Physical Therapy facilities, EXOS will now have over 70 locations partnering with health care systems to serve local communities nationwide. These facilities will provide physical therapy and additional proactive health and performance solutions through sport and team servicing agreements, group training, youth sports, and technologies. These solutions offer additional revenue opportunities and the latest in assessment and personalized recommendations to achieve sustainable health outcomes.
