Silent Circle and Kerveros Deliver on Pledge to Secure Enterprise Communications

Silent Circle, a pioneer in enterprise-class mobile security, privacy and compliance solutions, today announced a Silent Phone (News - Alert) deal with Kerveros which included thousands of Blackphones. Silent Circle and Kerveros announced a partnership at CeBIT in March 2017, and together, they deliver scalable hardware and software-based solutions to empower secure business communication around the globe. The device and software application combination purchased by Kerveros will be distributed internationally to organizations over the coming months.

Kerveros has a growing network of distribution hubs and dedicated experts, and has earned the reputation as an international partner of choice. "Being a jack of all trades, yet a master of none, does not serve our clients," said Managing Director and Owner, Kc Cico. "Teaming up with a powerhouse like Silent Circle has allowed us to specialize in the distribution of Blackphone and Silent Phone. Our resellers are confident that Kerveros will be able to fulfill all orders direct from stock, regardless of where they are placed in the world. This collaborative partnership has aided in pushing our business forward by reducing supply risk massively and raising industry awareness for Kerveros."

Silent Circle's Blackphone is the world's first smartphone built from the ground up to be private by design. It provides a familiar Android (News - Alert) environment and access to Googl apps and services, while offering choice and control over how and when data is shared. With support for MDM services and Android for Work, Blackphone 2 is ideally suited for enterprises to provide privacy without compromise. The corresponding Silent Phone software application promises private, encrypted communication and secure file transfer on any device in the industry.

"Partnering with an elite distributor like Kerveros, continues to yield top-notch enterprise deals," said Gregg Smith, CEO of Silent Circle. "Together, we are meeting the worldwide need for greater technology integration by instilling confidence in secure communications and privacy for organizations worldwide."
