Public Service Credit Union Reports Surge in Online, Mobile Banking Adoption, Usage among Retail and Business Members

Malauzai Software, a provider of mobile and online banking SmartAppsfor community financial institutions, today announced Colorado-based Public Service Credit Union (PSCU) has successfully rolled out a full digital banking platform for its business and retail members. An early adopter of Malauzai's MalauzaiOne Digital Banking platform, the credit union is one of the first to provide its members the ability to aggregate accounts, providing consistent access to both retail and/or business accounts, regardless of the channel or access point.

With more than $2.3 billion in assets and 219,000 members through June 2017, PSCU introduced the new digital banking platform to its full membership earlier this year, and has reported a spike in both adoption and frequency of use. Recently named to Advisory HQ's nation-wide list of the Top 11 Best Credit Unions for Business, PSCU now provides its business members with consolidated access to digitally view and manage all of their banking needs, as well as link all other accounts including personal/retail accounts. Providing a consistent user experience regardless of the type of account or access point was one of the key reasons the credit union selected the MalauzaiOne Digital Banking platform.

"PSCU is passionate about delivering best-in-class digital banking with an exceptional experience to meet our growing membership needs," said Todd Marksberry, CEO at Public Service Credit Union. "Our evaluation process was comprehensive, and we found Malauzai to be the only provider to deliver a full digital banking platform that could meet the needs of the credit union and provide the functionality required nt only by our retail members, but also by our business members. Despite the growing number of small businesses nationwide, there continues to be a void in terms of digital banking tools that meet their needs. MalauzaiOne Digital Banking was the only solution that provided a unified member experience across all digital channels on a single platform as well as the feature-rich tools our business members need to manage their finances, conduct their daily banking needs and manage their businesses."

With PSCU's My eBanking mobile and online banking apps, members now have access to a robust consumer and business services suite, including online and mobile banking, electronic statements, bill pay, check imaging, remote deposit capture (RDC), and optional text and email alerts. Additionally, members have access to financial management and budgeting tools that can be used across both personal and business accounts. The credit union currently has more than 91,000 members that actively use the digital banking services.

Marksberry continued, "This was a significant technology roll-out for PSCU, but Malauzai ensured our employees were educated on the new platform and worked with our team to successfully launch this important service to our members. As noted, Malauzai's technology was far superior to other platforms we reviewed, but their dedication to our success and ongoing customer support and service has been invaluable."

MalauzaiOne Digital Banking is an end-to-end single platform that delivers superior economic advantages across digital channels. It supports consumers, businesses and financial institution employees. Known for their innovative, advanced features, and Mobile Only Experience (MOX) design philosophy, Malauzai is uniquely positioned to transform how community financial institutions compete and win in the digital space.

Robb Gaynor, chief product officer for Malauzai, explained, "We are representing the next-generation of digital banking technology. By offering our customers the opportunity to operate on a single platform, we are easing maintenance, lowering costs and supporting the overall simplicity of their digital banking efforts. We are thrilled to have Public Service Credit Union join us in this venture and to help them reach their digital banking goals."
