Artificial Intelligence Developer al+ Will Present Research Results on Fine-Grained Named Entity Recognition at the World's Most Prestigious Conference on Natural Language Processing ACL 2017Alt Inc. ( Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Kazutaka Yonekura), the company that develops the Personal Artificial Intelligence (P.A.I.) software "al+", will present its latest research results on Fine-Grained Named Entity Recognition at ACL 2017 (the Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics), the world's most prestigious conference on Natural Language Processing, being held from July 30th (Sunday) to August 4th (Friday) in Vancouver, Canada. al+ Fine-Grained Named Entity Recognition (al+ FG_NER) is a technology for Natural Language Processing that is a result of the research collaboration between Alt Inc. and Associate Professor Satoshi Sekine of New York University. When comparing al+ FG_NER to the general Named Entity Recognition technologies, it successfully expands the number of recognized categories to a very large number while maintaining high precision. This research result is therefore accepted for presentation at ACL 2017. We believe that the presentation at ACL 2017 will help Alt Inc. to not only improve its viral in academia but also promote its possibility in the AI industry. Abot ACL 2017
