Autotask Releases New Version of Endpoint Management
New functionality has been added to Autotask Endpoint
Management including improved unification with Autotask PSA to help
technology service providers manage clients' devices as well as their
networks. With this version of Endpoint Management, providers can more
easily and effectively manage, monitor and secure clients' networks.
Highlights of the Autotask Endpoint Management release (2017-1) include:
-
Real-time Monitoring Status: Engineers will now know if their
monitors are working properly without having to wait for confirmation
via an alert.
-
Network Discovery: New discovery layout provides visibility of
what devices are available in the network and gives ability to see
across all parts of the network. A network audit view provides
at-a-glance access of unmanaged devices across managed sites.
-
Network Monitoring Redesign: Offers a way for providers to
effectively and efficiently manage and apply monitoring policies
across network devices.
-
Remote Control Activity Stored in Autotask PSA Ticket: To
improve reporting to clients, providers will now have detailed
activity data about completed remote control sessions available in
Autotask PSA.
"Based on customer feedback, we have revamped our network management
capabilities to give service providers a more streamlined approach for
managing both devices and networks for clients," said Ian Van Reenen,
Vice President, Engineering, Endpoint Products, Autotask. "They will
also save time with easy discovery and audit for network devices,
increase network visibility to better understand what they are managing
and improve efficiency and deliver better service delivery with the
remote control capability."
