The Web.com (News - Alert) Tour and Ellie Mae announced today its sponsors for the upcoming 2017 Ellie Mae Classic. The week-long golf tournament kicks off Monday, July 31 and runs through Sunday, August 6 in Hayward, California, at TPC Stonebrae.

One hundred and fifty-six of golf's next wave of PGA TOUR stars will be competing for a $600,000 purse as well as coveted PGA TOUR cards. Stephen Curry, the 2017 National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals winner for the Golden State Warriors will also take part in this year's tournament.

Last year's Ellie Mae Classic produced one of the most memorable weeks in the Web.com TOUR's 28-year history, with Germany's Stephan Jaeger posting a PGA TOUR-record 58 in the opening round on his way to a record-setting 30-under-par 250 total and a seven-shot victory.
