Plagiarism Detection Service VeriCite Eclipses 100 Institutional Clients, Hires Ed Tech Veteran Valerie Schreiner as CEO

INDIANAPOLIS, July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cloud-based plagiarism detection service VeriCite today announced that it has added more than 100 educational institutional clients since the company's inception a year ago. As the company continues to build momentum in the marketplace, it has added education technology veteran Valerie Schreiner as CEO. Co-founders Scott Siddall and Sam Ottenhoff will remain with the company as CFO and CTO, respectively.

The 100-client milestone is a testament to the effectiveness and value of VeriCite's plagiarism detection service. New CEO Valerie Schreiner previously held the position of chief product officer at Schoolzilla and has held senior-level positions at Elluminate and Blackboard.
